Transportation (links)

Ask for Mobilis Card "zones 1 to 4" (9.15 euros) : this card can be bought at the Rive Gauche Train station it allows you to travel one day on all public transportation (buses, subway, RER...) in Versailles and Paris. So if you intend to spend a day in Paris it may be interesting.

If you prefer to go to Paris by bus you can take the Bus 171 in front of the Castel and also in front of the "Hotel de Ville" it will, after a 1/2 hour trip" drop you at the Parisian metro station "Pont de Sèvres" (Where you also will find the Sèvres Museum - the stop before the metro station). You can take this bus until about mid-night.
