Presentation

This two days conference is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Michel OLLIVON, a Research Director at CNRS and a former Head of the laboratory "Physico-Chimie des Systèmes Polyphasés" at UMR8612 CNRS. The purpose of the scientific meeting is to trace his carrier of a fascinated scientist
and to recall the large spectrum of research topics that he was fond of, throughout his activity. This will be an occasion, for those who knew Dr. OLLIVON, to pay tribute not only to the significant contribution to the advancement of the lipid research field but also to his exceptional human qualities. The organization of the meeting is based on about twenty scientific invited lectures and witnesses.
In order to ensure the participation of everyone, a call for papers for a Special Issue in the "Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry" is now open. Every participant will have a freedom to propose a scientific article to the Special Issue that will be subjected to peer review.
