Continuing the concept of the very successful pre-satellite meeting of the Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress 2007 in Amsterdam, the Pharmaceutical Sciences Fair & Exhibition (PharmSciFair 2009, 8-12 June, Nice, France) is pleased to offer a pre-satellite symposium dedicated to the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists. PhD students and postdoctorate fellows from all over the world will convene in Nice to exchange ideas and discuss the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences.

During the one and a half day event, young scientists will present lectures in parallel sessions on such topics as: Clinical Pharmacy/ Pharmacokinetics/ Pharmaco-dynamics/ Pharmacoepidemiology, Drug Delivery–Biology, Drug Delivery–Technology, Drug Transport/ Drug Metabolism/ Toxicology/ Safety, Medicinal Chemistry/ Target Discovery and Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Bioanalysis/ Quality Assurances/ Regulatory Affairs. In addition, poster presentations will be held on the latest research findings in all fields of pharmaceutical sciences. The students/postdoctoral fellows will have the opportunity to present their work during “poster walks”.

In each scientific section, the most outstanding poster presentation will be honored with a “Young Investigator Award”. Keynote lecturers in all areas will give comprehensive overviews on the current developments in their particular fields.

This pre-satellite meeting will give young pharmaceutical scientists the unique opportunity to network and share professional experiences before the start of the 2nd PharmSciFair on 8 June, to which they are also invited to register for and attend.
