Info Day “Parenteral Drug Delivery: Excipients, Manufacturing and Innovative Formulations”

Organised by APGI and EVONIK
May 31, 2022 – Paris, France

APGI and Evonik Health Care are pleased to invite you to the joint Information Day 2022. The event will take place on May 31, 2022 in Paris and will focus on

Parenteral Drug Delivery: Excipients, Manufacturing

and Innovative Formulations

This event will be an excellent opportunity for lab managers and scientists from formulation development, process optimization, scale-up and production from private and public institutions to learn about enabling formulation approaches and advantageous manufacturing setups.

During this day, you will have a chance to learn particularly about:

  • novel excipients, both polymers and lipids, that can be used for the delivery of nucleic acids
  • design considerations for drug delivery systems, such as in situ ocular implants or intravenously injected nanoparticles, among others
  • new manufacturing technologies for liposomes and polymeric nanoparticles.

International experts and guest speakers from industry and academia will present relevant topics and industrial case studies and give insights into novel technologies. Attendees will be able to directly apply their learnings from this online seminar to their daily work.

Registration fees

The participation in this seminar is free of charge for APGI members.

The participation fee for non-members is equal to the usual annual APGI members: Industry 195€, Academia 80€, Students and Retirees 25€ (+20% French VAT).

With your participation fee you will receive a free and non-recurring APGI membership for 2022 which will automatically stop at the end of the year. Your APGI membership gives you the opportunity to be part of a huge network of pharmaceutical technology experts and gives you access to APGI events (Information Days, Hot Topic Days, Workshops) with significant discounts, including scientific congresses such as the 13th PBP World Meeting in Rotterdam in March 2022.

Registration is open, go to the bottom of the page

Please note: For better planning we recommend timely registration. Due to the high demand in this type of seminars, we may need to reject registrations or put you on a waiting list. Thanks for your understanding!

Our seminar under COVID-19
Our seminar will be organized in full compliance with the required hygiene measures and legal requirements of the French government. As of today, all seminar participants need the so called “Pass Sanitaire”, the French version of the digital COVID-19 certificate within the European Union, which acts as proof of testing, proof of recovery or proof of vaccination. The required QR code is fully harmonized within the European Union, so that participants from respective countries can simply use the usual QR code/smartphone app from their home country. In addition and as of now, all seminar participants need to wear a medical mask. For general travel recommendations we recommend to check the website of the French Foreign Ministry.

The teams of APGI and Evonik Health Care want this seminar to be a safe event for all participants and organizers. Please be informed that in case the pandemic situation should not allow to hold a live event the organizers will offer a digital alternative or postpone the event to a later point in time.

Accomodations

Hotels with special rates will be recommanded soon. If you need it, please ask to Laurence Houzé
